You can automatically generate a synopsis for a specific scene or for all script scenes at once using the AI-driven Automatic AI Synopsis tool. You can also manually change it according to your wish. There are some differences between subscription plans:
Award-Winning Plan: Users can only generate a synopsis for a specific scene.
Amazing Studio Plan: Users can generate a synopsis for a specific scene and also have 3 credits per project to perform bulk generating - generate synopses for all of their script scenes at once.
Enterprise Plan: Users can generate a synopsis for a specific scene and also have unlimited credits to perform bulk generating - generate synopses for all of their script scenes at once.
Tip All the synopses you'll create you can later export to Movie Magic Scheduling format or download as CSV file.
Procedure
Option 1: Generate a synopsis for a specific scene
Go to app.filmustage.com, and then open your project.
On the ribbon, go to the Script, Summary, or Analysis tab.
In the script scenes list on the left, point to a string with the scene you want to create a synopsis.
To the right of the scene’s header, select ✏️.
Optional. In the Update Sets window that appears, adjust the Synopsis characters slider to select the maximum length of your scene’s synopsis that you’re about to generate. The available values are 100, 200, 300, 400, and 500 characters, including spaces.
Select the Generate Synopsis For One Scene button.
Select Save to save your changes.
The App will automatically generate a synopsis for the current scene.
Option 2: Generate synopses for all scenes
Go to app.filmustage.com, and then open your project.
On the ribbon, go to the Script, Summary, or Analysis tab.
In the script scenes list on the left, point to a string with any scene.
To the right of the scene’s header, select ✏️.
Optional. In the Update Sets window that appears, adjust the Synopsis characters slider to select the maximum length of your scene’s synopsis that you’re about to generate. The available values are 100, 200, 300, 400, and 500 characters, including spaces.
Select the Generate Synopses For All Scenes button.
Select Save to save your changes.
The App will automatically generate synopses for all of your script scenes.
Change a scene synopsis
Go to app.filmustage.com, and then open your project.
On the ribbon, go to the Script, Summary, or Analysis tab.
In the script scenes list on the left, point to a string with the scene you want to create a synopsis.
To the right of the scene’s header, select ✏️.
In the Update Sets window that appears, change the scene synopsis according to your wish.
Select Save to save your changes.
The App will change a synopsis for the current scene.
