Cross out lines in sides

Mark lines not filmed on a shooting day in Filmustage Sides — struck lines stay greyed in the packet, and the scene shows a skip count.

Cross out the lines that aren't filmed on a shooting day. Struck lines stay in the Sides packet, greyed and lined through, so actors keep the full scene context.

Before you begin

Procedure

  1. Go to app.filmustage.com, and then open your project.

  2. On the ribbon, select Scheduling, then select Sides.

  3. In the left rail, select the shooting day, then select a scene.

  4. Make sure the mode is set to Edit, then open the Cross-out tab.

  5. Select a line to strike it. Select it again to restore it.

  6. Repeat for every line that isn't filmed that day.

Filmustage strikes the lines and marks the scene with an orange N skip badge in the rail — the number of lines struck for that day. Your changes autosave.

Note: Cross-out is saved per shooting day. The same scene scheduled on another day keeps its own cross-outs and its own skip count.
