The Edit or Remove Day Breaks feature in Filmustage allows you to modify an existing day break’s details — such as internal notes or shoot date — or remove the break entirely. This is useful for rescheduling, making corrections, or cleaning up your stripboard.
Before you begin
Procedure
Go to app.filmustage.com, and then open your project.
On the ribbon, go to the Scheduling tab.
Locate the day break you want to edit or delete.
On the right-hand side of the day break bar, select the gear icon (⚙️).
Choose one of the following options from the dropdown:
Update day break
Remove day break
Update a Day Break
Select Update day break.
The Update Day Break window opens.
In the Notes field, enter or edit your comment (e.g., “Switch to night shoot”).
From the calendar picker, update the Shoot Date if needed.
Select Update.
Filmustage updates the day break’s label, notes, and shoot date in the stripboard.
Remove a Day Break
Select Remove day break from the dropdown.
Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Filmustage removes the selected day break from the stripboard.
