Add Day Breaks splits your shooting schedule into production days for you, based on how much material you plan to cover per day. Filmustage assigns a date to each day and updates your Day Out Of Days (DOOD) report accordingly. To place day breaks one at a time instead, see Add Day Breaks manually.
Before you begin
Procedure
Go to app.filmustage.com, and then open your project.
On the ribbon, go to Scheduling → Stripboard.
In the toolbar, select Add Day Breaks.
The Day Breaks Settings window opens.
Under Add Day Break Every, set how much material one shooting day covers:
Select a value from the first list.
Select the unit from the second list: pages or hours.
Page values are listed in 1/8ths — for example, 2, 2 1/8, 2 2/8.
Under Select Start Date, select the first day of your shoot.
Optional. Under Days Off, select the weekdays you do not shoot. Filmustage skips these weekdays when it assigns dates, and the DOOD report does not count them.
Optional. To exclude a specific calendar date, such as a public holiday:
Under Holidays, select Add holiday.
In the Holiday date field, select the date.
Repeat for each date you need to exclude. To drop a date, select the trash icon next to it.
Select Add Day Breaks to apply.
Filmustage divides your schedule into shooting days, assigns a date to each one, and updates the DOOD report.
Caution: Filmustage removes all day breaks you previously set (if any) and replaces them with new ones in your shooting schedule.
