As a filmmaker using the App, you may often work with various data sets in your projects, such as scheduling details or casting information. Google Sheets is a valuable tool that allows for easy collaboration and analysis of this data. Importing CSV files into Google Sheets is a simple process, and in this guide, we'll walk you through the steps.

Step 1: Access Google Sheets

  1. Launch your preferred web browser.

  2. Navigate to Google Sheets and sign in with your Google account.

Step 2: Create or open a Spreadsheet

  • Select the ➕ icon to create a new blank spreadsheet.

  • Open an existing spreadsheet by selecting its name from the list of recent documents.

Step 3: Import your CSV file

  1. In the menu at the top of the screen, select File.

  2. From the drop-down menu, select Import.

  3. Select the Upload tab.

  4. Either choose Select a file from your device and browse to the CSV file on your device, or simply drag and drop the file into the box.

  5. Optional. In the window that appears, select the importing options of your choice.

  6. Select Import Data.

Step 4 (Optional): Review and edit

  1. Review the imported data: The data from the CSV file will now appear in your Google Sheet. Ensure that it has been imported correctly.

  2. Edit if necessary: You can make any necessary adjustments or edits within Google Sheets as you would with any other data.
