Filmustage allows you to export your shooting schedule in different formats to match your production workflow. Whether you need to continue work in Movie Magic, analyze your schedule in Excel, or share a printable PDF with your team β€” exporting is quick and flexible.

Before you begin

Procedure

  1. Go to app.filmustage.com, and then open your project.

  2. On the ribbon, go to the Scheduling tab.

  3. In the upper-right corner, click the Export icon.

  4. The export format options will appear:

Available Export Formats:

  • SEX (Movie Magic)
Exports your schedule in .sex format, ready to be imported directly into Movie Magic Scheduling for further formatting or budgeting integration.

  • XLSX (Excel, Google Sheets)
Generates a spreadsheet version of your stripboard. Use it to create reports, apply filters, or collaborate in tools like Excel or Google Sheets.

  • PDF File
Creates a clean, printable PDF β€” ideal for distributing to your cast, crew, or production managers.

Tip: Before exporting, make sure your strip order, day breaks, units, and locations are finalized. Everything currently displayed will be reflected in the export file.
