Sort data in your reports

How to sort data in the reports tab

Written by Egor Dubrovsky

The Reports tab gives you a detailed, sortable overview of your tagged elements across all scenes in the selected category. Sort the tag table by any column — useful for analyzing cast usage, scene coverage, page count, or scheduling availability.

Before you begin

Procedure

  1. Go to app.filmustage.com and open your project.

  2. On the ribbon, go to the Reports tab.

  3. On the left, select a category (e.g., CAST, PROPS, SET).

  4. In the tag table, locate the column header you want to sort by. Sortable columns have arrow icons (▲/▼) next to the header name.

  5. Select the column header to sort:

    • Select once to sort ascending (▲)

    • Select again to sort descending (▼)

Sortable columns

  • ID — Cast ID, sorted numerically. Only the CAST category has values; other categories show an empty column.

  • Tag — tag name, sorted alphabetically

  • DOOD — number of scheduled working days for the tag, pulled from the Scheduling tab

  • Scenes — total number of scenes where the tag appears

  • Appr. — total appearances (the number of times the tag is mentioned across the script)

  • Pages — combined length of all scenes that contain the tag

  • 📅 (Unavailable Dates) — number of dates marked as unavailable for the tag. For details, see Edit a tag.

Note: The Notes and Reference columns are not sortable.
