What Budget Hints show

For each budget line, Budget Hints can include:

  • Calculation logic used to generate the estimate.

  • Data sources that influenced the cost.

  • System assumptions applied during calculation.

  • Cost category breakdowns.

  • Optimization suggestions to help control or reduce costs.

You can use this information to understand why a specific number appears and decide whether to adjust it.

When to use Budget Hints

Use Budget Hints when you need to:

  • Review AI-generated estimates before finalizing a budget.

  • Validate cost assumptions against your production requirements.

  • Identify optimization opportunities early in budgeting.

  • Explain budget numbers to producers or stakeholders.

Notes and limitations

  • Budget Hints explain how the App calculated the estimate, not final production costs.

  • The App bases Budget Hints on available breakdown data, scheduling insights, and referenced financial datasets.

  • Updating breakdown tags, DOOD reports, or the shooting schedule can change Budget Hints after regeneration.
