The Budgeting tab allows you to create and manage a detailed production budget directly from your script breakdown, shooting schedule, and reports. When setting up a budget, you choose a hierarchy structure — 2-Level (Category → Position) or 3-Level (Category → Account → Position) — depending on the scale of your production. You can customize budget templates, categorize costs, adjust fringes and deductions, generate AI-powered estimates, and export your budget in multiple formats.

Filmustage provides the following toolsets within the Budgeting tab:

Choose a budget structure (2-Level or 3-Level) and a template when creating a budget for the first time.

  2. 💰 Generate the budget

  3. 🧠 Generate AI budget
