After creating frames with AI Assistance, you can add a reference image to each frame — either by creating one with AI or uploading your own. Both options are available in the AI Frame Reference panel.
Note: This operation uses Dude Coins. Filmustage deducts them automatically when the operation runs. To check the current rate, select your Dude Coins balance in the top-right corner, and then select Upgrade Plan. See What are Dude Coins and Plans, Dude Coins & Pricing.

Procedure
To add an image to a frame
Go to app.filmustage.com, and then open your project.
In the top navigation bar, click Storyboards.
From the scenes list on the left, select a scene with existing frames.
Click the image area on a frame to open the AI Frame Reference panel.
Do one of the following:
To create an AI image, review the frame description and camera parameters, then click Generate frame. Filmustage deducts Dude Coins for the image automatically. Once created, the image appears in the History section — click it to select it.
To use your own image, click Upload Image and select a file.
Click Use in storyboard to apply the image to the frame.
To add images to all frames at once, click Generate frame images above the frames and select a generation option. Filmustage deducts Dude Coins for every image it creates.
🚀 Coming soon: Video previs. The AI Frame Reference window will also support video previs — AI-created short video clips for each frame. This feature is currently in development.
