Each scene in your storyboard can have its own visual style — mood, atmosphere, visual tone, and drama level. These settings guide the look of AI-created frame images for that scene.

Before you begin

Procedure

Configure the visual style for a scene

  1. Go to app.filmustage.com, and then open your project.

  2. In the top navigation bar, click Storyboards.

  3. From the scenes list on the left, select a scene.

  4. Under Create Frames, click Generate Frames, and then select Fast generation or Description only.

  5. On the Style & mood step, configure any of the following:

    • Quick Presets — apply a predefined style combination in one click: Noir, Drama, Thriller, Comedy, Horror, Romance, Action, or SciFi. Selecting a preset automatically fills in the fields below.

    • Mood — the emotional tone of the scene.

    • Atmosphere — the visual environment.

    • Visual style — the cinematic look.

    • Drama — the narrative intensity.

    • Style reference image — upload a photo or film still to guide the visual direction. Optional.

  6. Click Next to proceed to the Tags step.

You can also update the style of a scene after frames have been created. On the scene page, the current style settings are shown under Scene style.

Plans

Style settings are available on all plans, including Free. AI-created frame images that use these settings require a Director's Cut plan. The coin cost is shown on the button before you confirm.
