Upload a revised script to create a new version. Filmustage compares it with the current version, re-runs the breakdown for new and changed scenes, and keeps every earlier version with its breakdown intact.
Before you begin
Upload a new version
Open your project. In the top navigation, open the Script menu and select Versions.
In the Versions hub, select Upload New Version.
In the Create New Version window, on the Upload File step, drag and drop your script or select the upload area to browse. Filmustage accepts .pdf and .fdx files. Select Next.
On the Fill Description step, edit the version title, add version notes describing what changed, and choose a Revision Color. Select Create Version.
On the New Version Detected screen, review the detected changes: New scenes, Modified scenes, and Deleted scenes. Unchanged scenes keep their tags at no cost. Filmustage shows how much of the script changed and the breakdown cost in Dude Coins.
Select Confirm & Breakdown to re-run the breakdown for new and changed scenes. To create the version without re-running the breakdown, select Skip Breakdown. To discard the upload, select Delete New Version.
Filmustage adds the new version as the current version and updates the breakdown. Your custom scene and tag settings from earlier versions are preserved.
Note: Uploading a new version is free. Re-running the breakdown for new and changed scenes spends Dude Coins; unchanged scenes copy their tags at no cost.
