Filmustage keeps your Templates & Data library separate from your projects. You can pull items from your library into a project, and items you create inside a project are added to your library automatically.
Before you begin
Learn how the library works. See What is Templates & Data.
Add a library item to a project
When you add an item inside a project β for example, a location in Scheduling or a fringe in Budgeting β you can pull it from your library instead of creating it from scratch.
Open the project, and then start adding the item.
Choose the option to add from your library. For example, location via Stripboard:
Select the library item you want.
Filmustage adds a copy of the item to your project.
Save a project item to your library
When you create a new fringe, deduction, location, or contact inside a project, Filmustage adds it to your library automatically.
If a matching item already exists in your library, Filmustage links to it instead of creating a duplicate.
Note: A library item and its project copy are independent. Editing one does not change the other.
What to do next
Manage your fringes and deductions. See Manage fringes and deductions.
Manage your locations. See Manage locations.
