View a scene's script in the Stripboard

Open the read-only script panel to check dialogue and action while you build the shooting order.

Written by Egor Dubrovsky

The script panel shows the screenplay text for the scene you select, without leaving the Stripboard. Use it to check dialogue, action, or page weight while you reorder scenes.

Before you begin

Procedure

  1. Go to app.filmustage.com, and then open your project.

  2. On the ribbon, go to Scheduling → Stripboard.

  3. In the toolbar, select the script panel icon — the first of the three icons on the right side.

  4. Select any scene in the schedule.

  5. Optional. Use the zoom controls in the panel header to change the text size. Select to zoom out and + to zoom in. The current zoom level appears between them.

  6. To close the panel, select × in the panel header.

Filmustage opens the panel on the left and loads the script for the scene you selected. Selecting another scene replaces the text in the panel.

Note: The script panel is read-only. Its header shows the scene number and a READ-ONLY label. To edit script text, go to the Script tab.
