Add stamps

Mark the script with standard stamps — OMIT, ADDED, REVISED, OK, DATE — or your own custom label. Available on all plans.

Written by Egor Dubrovsky

Stamps let you mark parts of the script with standard production labels — such as OMIT, ADDED, or REVISED — on the Script tab. You can also create a stamp with your own text and color.

Note: Stamps are annotations. They sit on top of the script, do not change the script text, and do not use Dude Coins.

Before you begin

  • Open a project that already has a script uploaded.

  • Open the scene you want to annotate.

Add a stamp

  1. Go to app.filmustage.com, and then open your project.

  2. Go to the Script tab.

  3. On the annotation toolbar, select Stamp.

  4. Choose a preset — OMIT, ADDED, REVISED, OK, or DATE — or enter your own label in Custom text.

  5. Choose a color.

  6. Click on the page where you want the stamp.

Filmustage adds the stamp to your active layer.

Tip: The DATE stamp inserts the current date.

Move, resize, or rotate a stamp

  • Move: drag the stamp to a new position.

  • Resize: drag a corner handle.

  • Rotate: drag the round handle above the stamp. Hold Shift to snap to 15° steps.

Edit or delete a stamp

  1. On the toolbar, select Select.

  2. Select the stamp, and then recolor it or select the trash icon to delete it.
