Edit a tag

How to edit tags in the Summary tab

Written by Egor Dubrovsky

In the Summary tab, you can change the name, scenes, notes, or category of an existing tag.

Note: The editing process works similarly to how tags are edited in the Script tab, offering the same intuitive layout and options.

Before you begin

Procedure

  1. Go to app.filmustage.com and open your project.

  2. On the ribbon, go to the Summary tab.

  3. In the Summary, locate the tag you want to edit under the appropriate category (e.g., CAST, PROPS, LOCATIONS).

  4. Hover over the tag and click the ✏️ pencil icon that appears next to it.

  5. The Edit Tag window will appear, allowing you to:

    • Rename the Tag

    • Add or edit Notes

    • Change the Category

    • Adjust the Cast ID (only if the tag belongs to the CAST category)

    • Add a reference image to a tag

  6. Click Save to apply your changes.

For more details on editing, follow the step-by-step manual available in the Script tab guide.

Note: You can edit tags in three tabs: Script, Summary, and Reports.
